R&D Tax Incentive - How to set it up right the first time

Unlocking Synergies: Aligning Academic and SME Interests for Mutual Benefit

This session will delve into approaches academics can employ to effectively engage with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to align interests and deliver substantial value.

We will explore practical methods to bridge the gap between academic research and industry needs, fostering collaborations that not only advance knowledge but also drive innovation and economic growth. Join us to discover how we can create lasting partnerships that benefit both academia and SMEs, and ultimately, contribute to the broader community.

Session 4

AI in Nanoscience

Advancing Nanoscience with AI:
AI will take a major role in advancing nanotechnology! Or is it just hype? Does the future really replace researchers with computer? AI is already used in some application in nanoscience, but are there any pitfalls or dangers? Where can AU really make an impact?

In this session, researchers (names) in the field will discuss opportunities, risks and limits of the use of AI-guided discovery.
