Welcome message from the conference chairs

On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Joint International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICONN) and IUMRS International Conference on Advanced Materials (ICAM), to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia, from Monday 8 – Thursday 11 November 2027.

ICONN is Australia’s largest biennial conference in nanoscience, and ICAM is one of the flagship conferences of International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS). This joint meeting brings together two internationally recognised conferences, creating a unique platform for world-leading scientists, engineers, industry representatives, and entrepreneurs to share cutting-edge research and innovations, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthen global connections across academia, industry, and government research institutions.

The conference program will showcase a broad spectrum of topics, spanning fundamental materials science and engineering, advanced nanoscience and nanotechnology, novel device and system designs, and emerging applications addressing global challenges in energy, environment, health, communication and sustainable technologies.
